This was actually a fun one to put together because of the complex blade shape. the first blade shape i did for this one in the final smoothing was at 20,000 poly!! *faints* but i managed to get my act together and i optimized it to 2168 poly for the blade itself. the overal poly count is 4888.
heres the odd thing when i screwed up the first model and made it horrendously heavy on the poly it took me like 2 hours to make it while i finished the blade for the new one in like 40 minutes so yeah seems i learned something about my techniques.
