But how do you make shure everything goes alright? To prevent traincrashes.

We adjust everything exactly and try at the ends with a single waggon if everything is OK.

We have plugs and only have to connect them.

yeah but someone had to wire it all. I have a book somewhere around here on model train electronics. there are so many neat things you can do. Many of the projects allow you to automate your system much like the real rail lines are.

Yep I know. It always depens on how far you will go and what the money allowys you, hehe. I have the dream that I will have my own big display one day.

If I decide to go back into the corp world I will most likely clear out my office, get rid of all the parts and computers then I will either turn it into a train layout or a gym. I have not decided which yet. Its a 12x15 or so room but thats enough for a modest layout

I envy you....so much...I really wish I have enough room do to a layout like that . . in narrow guage!! XD HON3 is the bomb. :P

Wow that's a large display!

The one I saw here in town was maybe about half as wide twice as deep and twice as high and not very detailed at all.
This is some cool looking landscapes:)

looks good. A group here has a modular layout- it has been set up to be 40 feet by 75. (about 13 m by 23 m) HO scale. They can set it up in about four hours and take down and load in cars and a trailer in two.
