What do you think of copyright. and how it applies to the Internet?

Just be aware of it, really. If you're gonna use it for underhanded purposes, that's your risk. However, with Lets Plays and such, it shouldnt be a problem since it brings awareness to a piece of copyrighted media and makes people wnat to go and enjoy it for themselves.

The more research I gave into it, the more I realize that copyright is rife with abuse. And it comes from the fact that nonmaterial ideas do not actually become less than, the more they are used. Splitting an apple makes it half an apple, splitting a computer makes it unusable, but sharing an idea does not diminish its essence in any way. Both sender and receiver, professor and student have the information they need as it gets transmitted. Ideas and concepts do not diminish, the more they are shared in fact they get stronger. It's only the profit motive of large corporations who have bought out the courtrooms and the politicians that keeps information from becoming free.

I've seen it happen firsthand, because my character was found somewhere else ten years ago and now I might have to fight a custody battle to avoid getting myself and others in trouble. These designs I found ten years ago became the basis for the character who is all over my page.
