It takes effort to fall asleep while standing on your hind legs. Being comfy makes that easier. Hermit dragons are amphibious, so it's not unlikely to see one getting the best of both worlds- the warmth of the sun and the cool of the water.

Reuploaded with edits. I was very unsatisfied with the original upload; still not happy with this one either, because I couldn't get the lower leg to look right (and just obfuscated it lazily instead). I've tried so hard on this and gotten so little results.. frustrating to hit a wall I can't be bothered to circumvent. Special thanks to  Rath,  elkcip145,  Caiem for putting up with the questions and barrage of WIPs.

I wanted to redesign my dragon a bit, so I did- less samey platewise, slightly different head design, still masked but with room for emotion. The frills are retractable, for catching light and dissipating heat. If nothing else, I'm happy with the spikes and the head.
