FF4 has spoony bard, Edward is a worthless fighter. but a great music maker.

I'm sure the Bard brought all of his wit and charm to the Ninetales. After all, how else can they be so smooth and charismatic?

Also, that sorta makes sense now. Like, why the Pokémon is called Ninetales and not Ninetails. At first, I thought it was called Ninetails, but I mean.. who didn't? <_<;;

We still get awesome tricks. We can mind control people, we can use curses to, say, turn them into a cute little pichu if they piss us off, and then eat em, there is the 9 mystical powers imbued in the tails, there is the thousand year lifespan, so we can wait for trainers that catch us to die of old age and then point and laugh as we remain young and such looking.Even some members of the species are pretty good illusionists.So really depending on the Ninetales its not a bad trade off. And of course Alolan Ninetales was revered as a Deity for a while.And who is to say that after the initial Ninetales was created, they didnt eventually grow a bit weaker. Look at Magikarp. In prehistoric days and such it used to be even more powerful than its evolution. A Pokemon to be feared.

I just wish we knew what mystical power each tail holds. The Ninetales I know don't want to share that information.

I think it varies per Ninetales. For example, one of Spice's could be he is extra floofy and pretty.Has to be SOME magic at work there keeping him looking so fabulous! It cant just be the fur care products.Especially since in his village it is surely harder to come by em. And just think, Spice will always be so fabulous looking for a thousand years. Course there is a downside to such a long life span. He will see his friends in the village grow old and eventually die on him. And of course he will have their grandkids and such calling him grandpa Spice, or Old Man Spice.

Though least he gets to embellish his tales of his explorations with the group, so they come out like he saved the day and said group. Since after a bit nobody but him will remember the real story. But yes, Ninetales ARE awesome. Those mystical powers I think do depend on the Ninetales. Like for Phoenix I say one is a potent healing ability. Letting him escape from tougher scrapes than most.

I also personally content that height is only to the top of the head, not the crest and it's the size of a young, freshly evolved female (majority case and all.)
