Atomic Bessie
After recovering from a surgery (on my drawing hand) I decided to get back to practicing once I was well enough. One thing I've really been trying to do is get a distinct style for myself and I figred I lean more towards cartoonist than realism. I relaxed certain areas of detail in order to simplify Bessie in these pictures, as well as giving her a looser anatomy.
I swear to god, I'm gonna eventually get around to putting these girls in a little mini series, but I have to make sure I can draw them properly first. I did a few pictures for an art trade before this, which lead me to realize where I should be focusing more with my characters and designs. I even redrew a pose from a previous picture to get a better feel for her. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
