I decided to do a Korean war picture, and figured I could have a lot more fun editing if I did it like a volunteer Chinese Air Force Propaganda poster. I really want to do a Sabre picture soon, because if there is one era of aircraft I absolutely adore, its that awkward teenage period of jet warfare. Very nice work, I really like the look of focus and intent he has. The detail is excellent and the way you've used line darkness/lightness to deliberately create hard and soft edges is very effective, especially around the fur trimmed jacket and the eyes.
The yellowed background is a cool touch, makes it look like a dated propaganda poster. My one suggestion though would be that perhaps the red is too bright by comparison. If the poster has faded or even if it were printed on yellow paper, both of those would have an effect of desaturating the red somewhat.
But yeah, very impressive work and I like the variety of overlooked theatres you cover. Gonna definitely keep an eye on you! :D
