Madame Kitsune is not worried by your threats of poor online reviews.
The original line-art was done by  glamator. I touched it up a little. Madame Kitsune belongs to  fraccoon. Thebe, the elephant belongs to someone who does not wish to be
credited.

The story behind this is simple. During a stream, Glam was trying his hand at drawing comics. One of those comics he was drawing Thebe visiting Madame Kitsune's hot spring resort. But Thebe is an extremely spoiled and obnoxious character. She's apparently some kind of supernatural spirit (akin to a Kami, I guess), and her dad must be some important bigshot in the spirit world, because she acts like she owns the place - every place, in fact. In the comic Glam was drawing, Thebe was being rude to Madame's staff, eating tons of food and drinking lots of wine, and insulting Madame herself. Now, Madame's pretty patient and was taking this with surprising grace.
But then Thebe announced that she was not happy with the service and therefore would not be paying for it. If there's one thing Madame does not put up with, it's people trying to skip out on the bill, so it was time for her to make use of her magic fan. While the spoiled elephant was yammering on and on about all the reasons why she shouldn't have to pay for anything, she suddenly found herself shrinking. When she realized what was happening, she made one last attempt to intimidate Madame, but, as you can see, she was not impressed by it. Shortly thereafter, Thebe found herself herded out into a pig-stye, where she would have plenty of time to contemplate her rude behavior. And who knows? When she changes back - if she changes back - maybe she'll have learned to be more polite.
But probably not.

This is my first full picture trying use the different brush stroke tools available in illustrator to vary the line thickness. I'm still not sure what is the best way to use them, but in a lot of ways, I do think it improves the overall look of it.
