A Rito of unknown origin, Butterball, according to him, was trapped in another dimension for almost half a decade, during which he somehow went from one of the most fit in his village to the most obese Rito known to Hyrule. During his time in the dimension, he lost most of his memory, including that of his name. During his time in said dimension, he caught the term 'butterball' being mentioned in reference to him, so he took the name as his own. Now, Butterball tours Hyrule in search of the perfect chef and perfect meal, and would go to nearly any length to find them, spreading tales of his best meals in exquisite detail and replicating them almost perfectly for fellow travelers.
