Hey everyone. so it looks like we're finally at this point!
After prov and I went over all the estimates and guessing games of checking websites or calling random companies, we have come to the conclusion for a very safe and comfortable move we will be needing about $10,000... Ridiculous right? Well normally I move on rent, deposit, truck, and gas. Scrap everything else and move out. But obviously as we get older, my health didn't age very well. In my youth I could move out alone without a sweat. But moving an entire household and family is another thing... It's definitely a lot more to coordinate. We have 2 enormous computer work stations we need to move, some nice furniture that would be actually throwing money away if we got rid of it. But we're still getting rid of a lot of personal belongings and trying to condense our items to as little as possible.
We're very obviously not going to get 10k. Like let's be clear about that. It's an outrageous number and it's dumb that's how much we think it would cost to move 2 disabled people. Realistically we're going to have to make a TON of compromises and begging a lot of IRL people to help us out. And not to mention beg all of you here for support as well for any finical aid we can get.
We will be finishing up our lease paperwork this coming week and then officially set to move in by August 1st in Madison WI! Let's just hope we can get enough $$ for the truck booking since I'm not sure we're going to ever afford a moving company to do the grunt work for us.
I'm going to be going through all my belongings and even my own adoptables and see who I have permission to sell and who I can bare to part with. So be on the look out for future sales journals!

Sadly we are on a time limit. We have to make do with literally whatever we can get. We didn't get the relocation package we were hoping for since Provinite is no longer getting a new job (He's keeping his old one and working remotely!) so we got left on the side of the road here. You'll be hearing a lot of updates about our progress, so I'm sorry ahead of time for the flood!
