*sighs* So I saw this photo by
hidalgo (here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/232.....#cid:17616512) and thought omg, must draw instantly. Having located my vellum paper under a pile of wedding magazines, I got to work. The sketching went really well and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole colouring process. The only annoying thing about the vellum paper is that doing lighter bits on it is rather difficult. So yeah, I spent ages colouring this (I should be asleep already) and was really pleased with it, and then the bloody stupid idiotic evil scanner went and destroyed the whole things. *facepalm* I hate my scanner.
So yeah, sorry if the file is huge, I was trying to preserve even a tiny bit of the detail. >_<
Art by me, Sherman is Hidalgo's new horse.

Wow, what a nice morning surprise.
Thanks a lot for that. Like it has already been said, you did a very good you with the ankle and the coloring. Very impressive.
And I must say that the head is quite right. He has such a ... cheap(???) head. Just big and wide...and flat^^
Thanks again

Thanks a lot! I had a good feeling about the picture all along, it's just such a shame that it looks all grainy now that it's been scanned. I was trying out a partially new colouring style - trying to use a range of colours to bring out the shadows and the highlights, but I'm not sure it really worked on the vellum. I think I need to try again with the black paper. ^_^
But yeah, he was a nice horse to draw, so go give him a pat for it. ^_^

I realise that you were joking, and I didn't mean to be rude, but I really haven't forgotten. My memory isn't that bad yet. I do, however, have a full time job, part time studies ongoing, a dog to look after, fiance, some semblance of social life and I'm about to move house. So art is really not a priority for me right now, and hence I have little time for it most days.
