This here is a birthday picture for  Ribnose, aka The Artist for the Meadowhawk Webcomic series. Coincidentally, this is also the same day as the end of Steam’s Summer sale :b.

Anyway, I LOVE the Meadowhawk comics. A comic strip about dragons in a realistic world is something that deserves to be an Animated series. My favorite, of course, is Drizzle herself, though Tater is also quite lovable. I love the traditional Dragon body shape they have, so much I tried to replicate it in some of my own drawings with little success. And of course, who doesn’t love the “Selling It” comic right after these two introduced their web show?

I had a few ideas for a birthday picture for this talented artist, but I settled on this one since it’s relatively neutral in terms of possible offensive material. Since It’s summer, I drew Drizzle at the beach, clad in an attractive Thrones of Ermagard Swimsuit.

Thrones of Ermagard is a TV series Drizzle’s sister, Rain, introduced her to and she became a fan almost instantly, even developing a crush on one of the characters of the series, Mordomyr. If this series was real, I would totally watch it.
