Here's a surprise badge for
(the surprise aspect being why I didn't post it before AC) that I made to follow the con theme!
I talked a bit about making the badge with my friend SelixJackal who is good friends with Lapsus and is the reason he flew in all the way from Washington to go to the con. Selix always reminded me how Lapsus didn't have a sona and might not wear it... He didn't identify AS a sergal, it was more that he identified WITH them. And Lapsus was more of just a neat LoL name and account name than a sona name. So I gave the badge to him the first day and wasn't really shocked when I didn't see him wear it. Granted, a stranger had handed him a personalized gift -- I'd be a bit offput as well, since that's not exactly a common thing. But it was quite a welcome and warm surprise to me when I saw him sporting it the next time I saw him. And it definitely tickled me when the last day of the con I heard him say "I'm thinking of a fursuit" and "I need to go home and work on a sona".
I think the interactions with my friends -- be they the ones I came with or the ones I made -- are just as influential or even more so than the ones I had with "big names" and furry idols. And hey this not might be the best badge in the world but the fact that it was worn is more than enough for me.

That's a really nice description, wanted say Thanks again for taking the time to make the pic and the badge! I definitely wasn't expecting it and it turned out really cute.
Fursuiting is something I never would've considered before my first time at AC, and even after then it just became a sort of "that's actually kinda neat" thing. After seeing it all again and getting to see a more in depth look at it from you suiting and how you interacted with the other ones it's turned into something that looks like a lot of fun, so thanks for that :b

Definitely glad you like how it came out ^^ It was a quick piece and this was only the second Sergal I've ever attempted so I'm thrilled you're happy with the results.
Also if you ever consider fursuiting I hope you'll find it's more than worth the heat and initial expenses. The interactions you have with people -- especially children -- are so fun and unique, and truly unlike most things you can encounter out of suit. And you can let go of non-suit inhibitions, and act like a goofball! Hugs and high-fives, 'nose boops', cuddles and picking people up, hell even running off with things that aren't yours -- so many things are normal or excusable in suit that aren't out of suit. People look at the character and not at the person in the suit, and you get to just have fun -- if you're thinking about it even in the slightest, you should probably try it. Maybe contact someone you know with a suit and ask to try it sometime. Or just start with a partial. I make partials and would only charge the cost of materials if you'd ever be interested ^^
But hey, it's really awesome to hear that you're more interested in this kinda stuff, and it's humbling to hear that I may have had an effect on it. Also I saw your shout -- I'll Note you the Brush details next time I boot up TG, no worries. Either way, thanks again, and glad you liked the piece

Well as far as hobbies go it at least seems like most of the expense is upfront, unlike other hobbies I've had where it probably ends up being way more total just drawn out over a long time. Yeah the hugs were great. Well even for a partial it'd probably be a while as I'm still living with my family, not that I'm complaining as far as most things go :b And certainly when I do have the opportunity to seriously look into it your extremely generous offer will be something I consider
