Anthrocon 2017 - Look to the Sea by Dark Natasha
This is the second of two pictures I had done this year featuring a scene from one of my Metamor Keep ( http://metamorkeep.com/ ) stories. This story is the one I'm currently working on. In it my main character, Charles the Rat, is on board a sailing vessel heading on a long voyage across the world. He is accompanied by his family and many friends, including the dragon next to him. The dragon, Lindsey, is young and doing all he can to help them on the voyage. Here they share a quiet moment together looking out to the broad, and thankfully calm sea.

Okay so between when I made my post and your response:
I took a look at her work and it seemed really familiar. As it turns out I've seen her work before, she was an artist for a werewolf calendar that I followed. Because she's a traditional artist I really admired her rendering. I just had no idea (in retrospect, how silly of me) that she had an fA account!
So thank you for this and congratulations on obtaining such a lovely piece of art. :)

Well, not everybody does have an FA account! But yes, Dark Natasha is somebody I've long admired for her realism and attention to detail.
