This is my first attempt at making a short comic that illustrates the transformation of Aurora. This is the first of four pages, and in fact, I have already made the second page. Initially, it was going to be 3 pages, but then I decided to add one more page in order to add a little bit of context to what will happen on page 2. It took me a bit longer to make the 2 pages than what I wanted. Soon I'll upload the second page in a few days as I continue to work on the next pages, and I hope to finish the pages within this month.

On the night of the Winter Solstice, 18 years after Aurora was hatched, she and her parents, Luminesce and Atmos head up North to witness a spectacular natural phenomenon, the Lights of the Ancestors (or Northern Lights), to celebrate Aurora's hatchday. However, on this fateful night, the life of Aurora will never again be the same.

After 20 years of searching, the Green Auras from Luminesce's tribe find her as well as her mate Atmos and their daughter. The family attempt to escape, but the Auras have them surrounded and outnumbered. Atmos tells Luminesce and Aurora to fly away fast while he fights the enemies off. But Luminesce stays, saying that that tribe is looking for her and she intends fights them with Atmos. She tells Aurora to escape while she and Atmos fight the Auras as a distraction, but Aurora is unwilling to leave her family behind. Her father then yells at her to go and after much persuasion from her mother, Aurora has no other choice but to fly away as far away as possible. Her parents are then killed during the fight, sacrificing their lives to save their beloved daughter. She flies off into the night sky as the Northern Lights appear before her. She tears up at the loss of her parents on the day of her hatching.
