I am very happy with how this turned out I like him he looks strong and thoughtful. I chose the color scheme myself and I did not intend for it to look like anyone's fursona any likeness is strictly conincidence.

There are alot of artists out there who will use photoshop and corel painter, etc to trace over images or photomanip them and call it "art". Many times these photos are not their own.
There is nothing wrong with drawing off an image to practice at all, most people don't even link stock photos. Just be wary and know your sources.

I am going to jump in here. Having known Felina for some time I can assure you she does not do any sort of tracing or other photo manipulation. She in fact does the majority of her artwork with paper and pencil.
Before I get flamed here, and I am not trying to start anything I assure you, I understand the question about citing ones resouces. When doing a drawing from a photo it is a good idea for an artist to link to link to the original picture, which Felina has done here.
Yes, there are those that would simply trace over a picture and call it original. Felina is not one of those artists. Yes this is different from her other work, but an artist should try new methods from time to time and drawing from a pictures is one way to learn how to draw.

Looking at the Reference image, and the work that Felina did, it is very obvious that she did this freehand. I am also very sure that AnimeCat and Alpha are not accusing her of tracing. I can personally vouch for her and say that she does not trace artwork.
It is a good point to reference your source if you do use one like the wolf photograph in this piece. AC and Alpha are just trying to look out for her.
Keep up the good work sweetheart, your getting better every day.
