I don't mention this much in some circles, but truth is I have two fursonas (maybe three) that I consider a part of me. And while I admit Kompy is the one who is the mpst 'me' of them all, for the side of me that wants to give in to her little kid and whatnot, there's Tanuki.

So what I got here is a color guide (and sorta/kinda model sheet) for Kasumi Yuugata, alias Tanuki. Note that this design is a weeeeeeee bit closer to a 'realistic' design (save for markings, as those aren't realistic), as I have no finalized cartoon/anime design and, well...if anyone ever wanted to try and make her extra-toony, they'd have something to work off on. She was originally supposed to be the cute animal form for a fanmade Sailor Moon character, but is no longer grounded to any one worldsetting anymore and is pretty much the Donald Duck to my Kompy-Mickey Mouse in my personal Disney cast. Down to the fact that her speech pattern can be hard to decipher at points (she sorta/kinda NYAAAAAHS like an anime cat, even though she's technically a Raccoon Dog, a canine).

Additional notes:

- She's a shapeshifter from another dimension, able to take on a human female form (purple hair, retains ears and tail, typical kyootsy wootzy ditzy anime grrl) and several other forms, including a stone statue version of herself. The human form isn't shown since, aside from having forgotten to draw her, I've still have no idea what it looks like. If anyone cares to try their hand at drawing human-Tanuki, let me know. A normal 'anthro' version of Tanuki includes a wild mane of hair, same purple color as her eyes.

- She is NOT A CAT. SHE IS A DOG. SHE CAN ONLY NYAAAH BECAUSE HER SPECIES CAN'T BARK IN REAL LIFE. Wan >_<

- She likes leafies. Unlike 'true' tanuki, she doesn't require them to change shape.

- Also unlike other tanuki, she doesn't drink sake. Being female, she's also missing the, uh...giant shapeshifting manballs.
