My entry for round 26 over at  species_x_change. The round's theme was desert and I got the Burrowing Owl.

Cute little buggers, these Burrowing Owls. I'd never drawn an owl before, so this was interesting. She turned out a tad wonky, but I'm mostly happy with this, especially the wings and general pose (had a wonderfully clear silhouette!).

Dodger belongs to me, dur. Dunno why anyone would want her. Look at that hideous color scheme! It's a crime against color theory!
