sturaptor has been popping up when I stream lately, and has been teaching me a lot about proper shading and understanding light. So after finishing up some inking, I decided to draw one of his characters, studragon, as a gift for the help. What was initially just going to be a sketch, but after Stu explained that this character was supposed to be a cartoon in the real world (like Who Framed Roger Rabbit) I decided I really wanted to try a soft two-tone shading like in the movie. I am extremely happy with how this came out, and am thankful for Stu talking through some of the harder shading issues.
