Flight Rising Portraits (2h): Slate
Another backlog doodle-- to keep things nice and busy and fresh! Believe it or not, I'm still in the early stages of clearing out my previously completed work-- there are a lot of these from my long hiatus period!
Slate is a dragon with a very special place in my heart. She's all silver and gray with a lovely navy blue stain that gives her a monochromatic payne's gray palette, and for those who don't know, payne's gray is like, my favorite color in the entire world. She's a scholar and researcher type: quiet, cerebral, and maternal for her family. I still really enjoy how this one came out a lot.
