So my good friend
Nicholai_Gaul commissioned me once again making this my busiest year ever (which is awesome!!) only this time he wanted me to surprise his friend
Brutebandit The order was actually a bit of a challenge as lighting has never been a strong suit of mine. But I figured since Nicholai is always encouraging me to try out new things when he has me do art, whether I succeed or fail, I figured I'd give this my best shot!! All in all I don't think this is any too shabby, lol and from what I've heard Brute seemed to have enjoyed it too. That's right, before I uploaded this Nicholai had me send him the file to surprise Brute first!! And despite having to be down in New Port Richie for the last day and a half I STILL managed to belt this one out on time!

Well first off, of course your welcome for the favorite. I really liked the look of the picture and its wonder. The 'lighting' you were going for or rather experimenting turned out really well and beautiful along with strong. The trees look lovely and well fitting, the concept is nice as well and the perspective is well smoothed out.
Bless my soul!! I'm flattered! Thank you very very much, it deeply flatters me to know that you feel the piece stands so strongly in the effects I was trying out! Seriously, I'm humbled! When I was younger I'd be able to do alright linework but even my friends would tell me that my coloring work would often let the picture down or detract from the end quality; which was entirely true! That was actually my theme for Fur Affinity when I joined, I wanted to break away from my comfort zone and do backgrounds since I didn't often back on DA. Your words make me feel as if I've become better as an artist and embolden me to tackle the future! I hope that my future uploads entertain you equally and surpass my previous standards! Thank you so much!
