It was #9 "Festival Fiasco" We first see Conan at the Tenkaichi night festival in a kimono with a pink bunny balloon tied to his wrist.

Ahh, I did see that one. The pink bunny balloon understandably didn't catch my eye like it did yours. :D

I remember that one largely for the dub's assertation that they were in "New York", heh.

I don't remember that part, just that his 'shadow' kept getting in the way and the only reason he probably didn't 'lose' it would be that Rachel would probably get him a bigger, sillier one.

The dub had an issue of Americanizing very obviously non-American things. Very cognitive-dissonance for me.

I imagine you'd have liked it if he "lost" it, for that very reason, hehe.
