Because sometimes you just gotta let it all out~
Been a while, but damn did it feel good to finally finish this piece.
Inspired by
RockyTheProcy's "Less Tooth, More Weight" WG series featuring the rotund reptile rounding out ever so rapidly~ I love alliteration. XP
Most of my time on this piece was spent on the shading. I wanted to play around with a different light source and heavier shading. I was unsure if this would make the final piece too dark to fully enjoy, but in the end it did accomplish the effect I was looking for; a dark, barely lit environment briefly lit up by Toothless' own source of light~
Finally another upload, finally another Toothless pic. Enjoy! ;3

Dayum! I don't know what river this guy's been fishing from but it sure has calorie rich fish x3
Really nice job on the shading here! Usually dynamic lighting like fire is more easily done with soft shading but you pulled it off with cell shading which is impressive! Definitely accentuates his every curve <3

Oh my, thanks so much, Luke!~ ^.///.^
Honestly I just went off my memory of videogames and cartoons with similar surroundings in which such a light source was shown.
You know, the pitch-blackness where only ones eyes can be seen until a match it lit? XP
And mrawr, curve accentuation is of utmost importance! A fatass isn't a true fatass without properly emphasizing the thick- and smoothness of ones curvaceous curvature~ ;3
