Flight Rising Portraits (3h): Snowbelle
Another day, another tiny chip off the backlog posted publicly! And it's more dragon portraits: surprise! Snowbelle here is one of the first dragons I ever felt to have real character once I'd dressed her up; from her apparel alone I decided that she had some vaguely shamanistic role in the clan, and from there it just snowballed (oh, puns) into this figure of the aloof spirit she is. I really enjoyed the excuse to paint icicles on her mask-- which in and of itself was a very... interesting... compromise of design, because the item it's based on has NO root of reality in actual bird skulls.
Despite really liking coatls a lot, I think she's still the only one I have in my lair. Oops. Gotta fix that sometime.
