Shayde has a backstory in which he was a servant to the prince in a kingdom despite his mythic blood lines. The kingdom became under siege and war so they King and Queen sent Shayde and the Prince away, the carriage got ambushed and he woke up on the beaten forest track with a torn ear, covered in dirt and dust and wearing nothing but the torn cloth around his waist.
