[ANIMATION WIP] I Could Eat You Up
F5 FOR UPDATED ANIMATION
So here is the big project I've been working on here and there for the past year - I didn't want to upload anything until it was all done but people in my streams REALLY wanted me to upload it so far as a teaser. Besides, it won't be done for ages so I may as well.
Ryuu has Enigma all to himself in his lair, wrapped up in his coils and primed for lots of kisses and hugs - Ryuu being the way he is eventually gets overcome with those draconic urges to eat the little hyena, you know the score by now with this noodle.
There are 161 frames in this so far, it's all being drawn frame-by-frame in Photoshop because I hate myself. There are parts where I need to add 'in between frames and neaten some things out but I'll do that later. Thanks to
Mystopia for being a pal and helping colour some frames too!
If it won't play, go here: http://i.imgur.com/BBPeejz.gif
I hope you enjoy so far, lemme know what you think! I'll put it in scraps soon.

Personally you could ask http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jeschke/ he's had some great vore audio
Perhaps, their audio work is great! I just wonder if the final animation with be long enough to warrant having sound, it moves at such a quick pace that it might sound cluttered. I could either add more 'rest' parts here and there or...make it interactive so you press a 'next' button at certain sections. I don't know!
Either way I know they would make killer audio for this ♡

Oh... didn't see that coming, yet is hawt af. And don't worry I know how hard is the animation work even though I'm learning by my own studying animation and design in a private university, sadly I don't learn nothing there.
Well, keep going! Because your work is so damm pretty fabolous! 😍😍😍❤️❤️😃👌🏼

Gee thank you bud! This has been such an ambitious project but I have learned so much about animation through it. I was hoping I can have it finished by Christmas but I think that's too ambitious given all my other projects.
I'm just surprised you managed to resist saying anything about the uvula action here! XD

Yeahhh, I know how it is about deadlines and knowing when they're too ambitious >w>;;
And lmao, I thought it was rather obvious at this point <3 To be honest, let alone the awesome uvula wobble there, I -freaking- love the way the tongue moves in that part, it's fantastic.
Also the swallowing, and struggling~ I like how it seems the belch relieves some pressure to push Enigma down further haha <3

Now this is a challenge: I've got to give my usual analysis to a piece of art which doesn't sit still! I shall do my best. :p
What a thing it is to see you experiment with animation now. I think I speak for everyone that seeing your characters really moving is something we've all been hoping to see at some point, so the anticipation for this is very high indeed! You certainly have delivered, there's no doubt. Looking at the 'first part' first of all, you animating all of Ryuu's body (that is, whichever parts are in frame) does show that level of detail. I suppose it would have been the easy way out just to animate Ryuu's head. How his body tightens around Enigma really adds to that sense of "I've been caught by this dragon; I'm completely at his mercy!" In a sense, it comes off as a very good...transient sort of situation, as if Enigma has just been caught so his struggling versus Ryuu catching and flirting with him is happening there and then. So the context is there for sure! Certainly makes your job easier not having to draw some kind of introduction, although I dare say, for future animation projects you may take on, having a planned introduction/main part/ending may be worth thinking about. That being said, it seems to me a fairly long (and, needless to say, very complex, given your level of attention to detail) animation for a first time. But hey, something to think about for the future.
Jumping to the interior shots, well, it's your forte really, done to as high as standard as you've drawn vore before. You've done a wonderful job emphasising that squishy sort of texture of Ryuu's tongue and insides. I feel like I've got to note his teeth and uvula moving in the background too. You haven't missed a single detail (as ever haha!). From our perspective, that we see Enigma disappearing like that, in combination with everything I've mentioned about Ryuu's maw, it's easy for us all to feel like we're in Enigma's position. Heck, I'm sure I hear dragon stomach noises already...
The ending sequence brings really good closure to this. Ryuu's last wink at the audience really does it in terms of involving everyone watching. Making us feel a part of this animation definitely helps us connect more. Certainly for avid Ryuu fans, you've put smiles on all their faces!
What could I suggest you do from here? Well...it's still WIP of course, so I can't say a whole lot about colours and the like because you haven't got to that yet! However, the direction I've seen with regard to your colours (the shot of Enigma disappearing into Ryuu's throat) suggests a direction you usually take with colour (that is, blowing my mind) so there's no issue there as far as your ability is concerned. I think there could be more to be done with the text. A lot of effect can be deduced from how the text is written. So, maybe an example would be that when Ryuu says 'settle down', it could be written in a silky smooth font style, accompanying that 'sshhh', trying to quell Enigma's protesting squirming. On the other hand, Ryuu's belching could have a thicker, slightly 'rougher' font style, purely because it's a more rude noise compared to what I imagine most people believe Ryuu speaks like!
It's hard to point out things to improve, since you're still working on a lot of this. But hopefully what I've said either agrees with your intentions or can be amended/added easily enough. The overriding impression I have is that this is a success for you, in terms of delivering an animation which both caters to fans of your characters (which I most certainly am), to vore fans (which unfortunately I'm not) whilst maintaining some kind of story and relationship your characters have. Not for the first time, I'm really blown away. I hope to keep on seeing this animation as it progresses and if I can give any advice which you take on board, I'll be satisfied. Keep at it bud, you're doing a grand job!

Worry not about the text yet as it is the most basic placeholder as can be, it was only hastily scribbled just so I could sync up Ryuu's mouth with what is being said and to just get the dialog there in the first place. You'll be pleased to know I am on the same page as you and will theme the font better further down the line. Just thought I'd answer your point straight away, no hard feelings.
This is still so rough and unfinished that it really is hard to properly critique (and hopefully the final will be miles better) but thanks as always for still managing to find a way to deconstruct everything. I am still very much a beginner animator and I am teaching this all to myself so the learning curve is off the chart but I'm still trying my best. I do keep thinking of ways to flesh out the intro, like having Ryuu scoop Enigma off the floor with his tail and muttering sweet nothings to him before what we see in the first frame here but I think that'd be too overwhelming for me at my current level. I don't know. I'm adding more frames to lengthen certain parts as we speak so who knows? This whole project has been so unpredictable to whole way haha
Thank you!

Goes without saying that the final version will be much improved. Like someone at work told me, the fact that I'm giving suggestions and remarks is because I believe your work to be very good. I just want to help in any way I can. ^^ I do agree with your position on introductions. The last thing you want is to be bogged down with it. Don't worry about that though. I still feel that this will be a very complete animation once finished.
Always a pleasure to stick my nose in people's business and write stupidly big comments which nobody likes!

You know, at this point, I can't decide if Enigma is a lucky or unlucky hyena. Most dragon encounters end poorly for the guy, but he's practically a regular with several of them. Although, this does give me some funny mental imagery.
I can just imagine Enigma is hanging out with a friend, one of the dragons grabs the friend and the friend starts panicking.
Enigma is just standing there, "No, relax! You're gonna be fine! Trust me on this."
"How would you know?!"
*Looks back derp-eyed* "Experience..."

Hahaha that's a great idea!! That is...providing Enigma can actually REMEMBER all those previous times. His...his brain don't work so good...
Enigma is like one of those Starbucks regulars who get asked "So, the usual?" by the staff without asking...except here it's being eaten instead of coffee and the "staff" are the dragons!

The green screen is just an empty frame that marks where I'm going to be adding more to the internal maw scene. As for the animation speed it's something I'm trying to work on - I worry that if I slow it down much more it'll lose it's fluid motions. Admittedly it runs much slower in Photoshop, it only speeds up once it's on the web. Different devices seem to play it at different speeds too, hmm..
This is also a GIF...I may ditch that format for the final product

I have to admit, amazing is an understatement for this masterpeice-in-the-making. I have been a fan of your work for some time and this evolution is quite phenominal. In a way it encourages me to do some large scale animation myself with my sona. I also sorta envy Enigma, but then so do many. All in all, I can only simply say keep up the good work!
I'd definitely say give animation a shot - the sooner you start the better! It's very daunting at first but honestly I think the biggest initial challenge is figuring out what the hell to do with the interface. The actual animating becomes a lot less intimidating when you think of it as literally just drawing loads of similar pictures one after another...which I guess IS true haha!
Thank you so much for this comment though, so pleased you like it so far. As for Enigma, he is the luckiest fool and he doesn't even have to try. This stuff happens to him all the time...

Epic, btw, do you have a discord account? If you do, just send me a note, and I know a bit about animation, I animated my icon. But yeah, I think I may do a full vore GIF, especially to showcase my sona's reflective, mirrory insides. A pov with a certian prey would make a great idea.
Down the noodle you go, it's a long trip so have fun~ ;3 And this is why feral eastern dragon preds are adored. <3
Love how the squirmy bulge of the yena is so visable down the neck and in the middle of that long belly, even squeezing and sliding down further between the legs to finish the long water slide, so good. <33
Hope it's not too finicky to clean up and finish if you plan too. ^^

THANKYOU!!!! I have to agree about feral eastern preds, they're criminally underused which is baffling because their slinky anatomy lends itself SO WELL to vore scenarios...so I'm here to fix that shortage!
Truth be told I actually wanted to have Ryuu's legs further down his body (he is 70ft long, very long noodle!) but the size I made the animation doesn't really allow for much more to fit in...so ideally where Enigma finishes off at the end would still be Ryuu's mid-stomach but I guess I have to work with what I've got. People seem to like that placement anyways so it doesn't seem to be too much of an issue!
I definitely plan to finish this, it's an ongoing process of tweaking and adding stuff. Keep an eye out!

I just recently came across this thanks to a friend of mine.
I know it's been a year or more, but...goodness, this looks great so far, and I'm eagerly awaiting the finalized version if and when it is completed. I've always adored your noodle tease, and this is such a marvelous little bit of temptation.
