Flight Rising Portraits (3h... ish): Volt
Onwards to the second of my (many) mini-portrait built up over the past few months from Flight Rising! I don't think this was actually the second thing I painted, though it is in my earlier run regardless. Volt is an aesthetic favorite in my lair-- she's a (cold) black/white and electric blue skydancer with fabulous lightning themed cyan highlights, and I wanted to use my Kylebrush impressionist/impasto kits to paint her in a more roughened, viscerally textured style for funsies. Took a while to do, hence the guesstimated time parenthetical; I think I noodled on this over a two day period before I was happy with it, but still really liking the results!
