Adam Ducos is the younger son of retired university professors Anthony (physics) and Margaret Ducos (history). His older brother, Avery is a lawyer at a prestigious firm, yet another point in the list of things that Adam cannot even hope to achieve. Since he was a child, Adam was compared to Avery, it seemed that he could do nothing to crawl out from underneath the shadow of his brother's continued success. It seemed that Avery could do no wrong.

It came to a head when Adam was fired from his job at financial company (he was in IT). It didn't matter that the reason was for whistleblowing. Of course his parents were livid. In desperation, he answered an ad, so that he'd have a reason to leave the house and his parents' disappointed stares. He didn't expect to end up working in a porno company. He hated it at first, staying because he needed the money and to get out of the house.

He didn't get along with anyone especially Sassy-Tail, always provoking her and being-in Sassy's words-a know-it-all-jerk. With time, it became more than just a job, with furs who were just as messed up as he was. In a way the studio became the home he never had. He'd come to this job as a stepping stone for something better...but now...he doesn't want to leave....

Random facts: His parents do not know where he works, he's come up with a set of careful half truths and evasions when questioned about this; His biggest fear is of course his parents/family friends finding out about his job; He's currently building (in his words) the ultimate gaming computer.

This portrait unintentionally came out more personal than normal. I've a family friend that I share a birthday with. We went to primary school and secondary school together. My parents always used to compare the two of us and I couldn't help being slightly jealous of him as he was everything I wasn't...I don't think he's realised that but still....

It's all so silly...
