What color/pattern was it?

It wanna texas king snake. So basically, it was black, but it's belly was this off yellow and it has specs of that same yellow all over its body.

That's a Desert King... They're usually quite placid, I wonder who pissed in his Wheaties

Thank you for the info! Sorry I messed that up, I was raised in a super rural town in the boonies surrounded by rednecks and that's what everyone I knew always called them. XD From what I understand King snakes in general are usually pretty mild in temperament. I was just dumb enough to wander too close to him without realizing it. >.> When ever he struck at Sully, He really just popped him. As if he where saying " Back you away you demon! You are far too close for comfort!" So really the poor thing was probably really stressed out and just wanted to be left alone.
I have always been terrified of snakes in general, so no matter what kind I encounter, I more often than not run in the opposite direction. XD

Just how big was this guy? He might have been someone's barn snake, and with a lot of rats to eat, he could have gotten Hayuge

Atleast 4 to 5 feet.I Couldn't get an exact length on him, seeing as he was coiled up in defense mode. XD
