With a winter storm raging outside, it's certainly too cold and dangerous to make the trek back home. As you stare out the window, watching the seemingly endless snowflakes fall towards the earth, you hear Dexter calling out to you. Inviting you to spend the night and snuggle with him for a romantic evening. As we lie together, gazing into each other's eyes, the heat from the warm waves of the fire massages our fur. Our bodies further heating as we embrace each other on this cold winter night. Sliding my paws up and down your back fur, you become more and more relax, breathing ever so calmly. My tail fur gently caresses your face as I giggle and purr. Laughing together and sharing stories as the time flies by, our eyes becoming heavier as the evening progresses. With a quick and loving kiss, we fall into a peaceful slumber, still wrapped up together in each other's arms with the music of the roaring flames continuing to grace our ears. After a deep rejuvenating sleep, the radiant beams of the ever-inviting sun pierces through the darkness of the preceding wintry night, signaling the start of a beautiful new day. We hold onto each other a little while longer, feeling our hearts beat against one another in almost perfect sync. Before long I hop up to stretch out my own refreshed muscles, but only for a short while as I kneel back down beside you. With a charming and warm smile, I extend a paw towards you. It's a heartwarming piece so much so in the inviting gesture it gives, as well as a really romantic view. And even the mini-description makes it even more of a special moment. Two souls intwined together for a night to escape winter's embrace by embracing their own fire that burns within, lending it to one another who ever you spend that evening with. I tip my hat to your poetry work, and double tip to WoC for the phenomenal work ;)
