I have mixed feelings about this project not only that I am way older than the intended audience target for this concept, but the spy kids themes kind of faded out on popularity these days.
There is some link with the "old" Gang in the pilot cartoon and the character designs are interesting. I treat it like a spin-off from "CSI" or "Law & Order"...different locale and character types, same storytelling approach.

There is potential for the old Gang to pop up in stories if this idea went to series (animation by Richcrest Animation in India...they did the animation for the "Jakers" and "Bratz" series). Mrs. Bristlemore could be a very elderly Portia Porcupine.
Mogo Moose is the leader...a little exasperated and wisecracking than Montgomery Moose.
Regan Dog is more fussy like Woolma Lamb and clean-obsessed like Bernice Bear.
Mayfield Lamb is the spoiled rich girl...like Lolly Squirrel.
Hatch Cat likes to take chances...a cross between Zipper Cat and Rocco Rabbit.
Domino Beaver is more softspoken and nerdy like Braker Turtle than the fast-talking bet-making Bingo Beaver.
Mrs. Bristlemore seems to have a fondness for flowers like Flora Fox.

For what it's worth American Greetings is still trying to re-register "Get Along Gang" as a trademark and is keeping the official website alive. (Although it hasn't been updated for five years.) It seems like A.G. hasn't yet abandoned the Gang completely and might still have another stab at reviving them, although I'm not holding my breath.
