Personality:

Perpetually peppy and persistent, Drop Beat is a firecracker of a pony with a ton of energy, something that helps greatly with her talents and enthusiatic drum solos for Pony Pop when called for. Drop Beat loves her job and her bandmates, though sometimes the feeling isn't quite mutual and Sugar Pop and Grand Finale need to routinely separate themselves from the hyper pony. She loves attending parties and afterparties for the band and often has a hand in either arranging them or inciting the mood level she feels appropriate for them.

Outside of her drumming practices, Drop Beat likes to go for runs and exercise often to help burn off and cope with her excess energy. When forced to sit for long periods of time or denied her outlets, Drop Beat becomes very fidgety and even a little irritable, while her volume loses any resemblance of control. Due to this, she doesn't get on well with very sedentary ponies and will either ditch them or try to prod them into doing something more her speed.

Besides the drums, she also has a knack for the xylophone and synthesizer and occasionally spends time - usually in short chunks so she's not left sitting still too long - remixing drum solos and the like for her personal listening or parties.

Trivia:

O Drop Beat was originally going to follow a lot more closer to Blue Note and be a jazzy musician, but the smooth, slow style didn't mesh well with Pony Pop.

O Is often confused by other ponies as far as her gender goes, having been mistaken for a young stallion on multiple occasions.
