just be careful, cheaper katanas are known for having rat tail tangs and can easily snap if you strike something with the sword, could get injured. the lack of menuki pins on the handle tells me either its glued in or is a rat tail with the nut hidden under the end cap. I suggest this only be used for very light play nothing sword to sword or any attempts to cut anything...if you need further motivation to exercise caution id recommend you search youtube for results regarding cheap katana malfunctions. Be safe either way.
