Personality:
C'est La Vie is a very confident pony, often considered rather egotistical by others. He is very proud of his lineage and his job in Canterlot, which involves aiding the princesses in budget management, such as when preparing for high class events, like the Grand Galloping Gala, or welcoming parties for foreign dignitaries and other important guests. A self-assured smile is almost constantly plastered on C'est's face, often without him even realizing it.

He can tend to look down his nose at other ponies and frowns greatly upon those who spend recklessly or behave similarly. Despite his ego and pride, C'est La Vie is quite dedicated to ensuring everything runs smoothly and all ponies involved are kept content and happy. He also loves a good story, whether real or fake, and listens quite intently to an enthused storyteller.

Relationships:

C'est La Vie is fast friends with both Fever Dream and Shimmering Aegis, the latter of whom he often visits in the Crystal Empire, or at least so often as his schedule permits it. He enjoys hearing the former's tales of romance and has similar taste in company and cuisine, as well as the latter's tales from guard duties or random happenings in the empire.

Trivia:

C'est La Vie obtained his cutiemark while studying abroad in Neighpon during a parttime job at a cafe, where he often made suggestions that allowed the owners to save money and broaden their customer base. He often wonders if his cutiemark would be the same if he had attained in somewhere else in the world.

C'est La Vie speaks fluent French, a takeaway from his parents (I headcanon that both Fancy Pants are Fleur are fluent in French, as well as others, but the home environment was often shrouded in both English and French), as well as Neighponese from his time and studies there when he was still a young adult.
