o originally I shipped Twilight Sparkle in my nextgenverse with an OC Griffin by the name of Brahma, however, I realized I didn't really like the idea. After a bit I realized I like Twilight and Sunburst together, two bookworm nerds who both try and live up to great expectations. I'd imagine they would've bonded over taking care of and teaching Flurry Heart on Twilights visits to the Crystal empire and after Flurry was grown would've ended up living together, but likely would've had Dawn Reflection before that. Anyways, onto Dawn Reflection, daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Sunburst. Her information is still mostly a WIP, but I wanted to post this as I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Personality:
Dawn is an overall pleasant and happy pony, content to spend her days helping other ponies work out their troubles in her full time counseling job. While she counsels adult ponies as well, most of her job sees her working with children and young adults, who often have more problems accepting themselves. Despite the fact that her talent is helping others be happy with themselves, every now and then Dawn Reflection does suffer a pang of self-doubt or self-pity stemming from her deformed wing, but quickly brushes the thought aside, reminding herself that the outside isn't what matters the most.

Her insistent attempts to help and soothe other ponies can annoy some of them, often those who have the most self-loathing and denial. She can be a little absentminded when it comes to duties outside of her job and has had to apologize profusely more than one for forgetting some meeting or outing with friends and family.

Her cousin Pupa is a source of much frustration and sadness for Dawn, as she understands how much the changeling pony resents himself. She often tries to spend time with him and get to the bottom of his self-hate to try and iron it out and maybe for once see her cousin happy, but Pupa is so deep in he instinctively pushes away most attempts at comradery or companionship.

Trivia:

Dawn Reflection is incapable of flight without levitation magic thanks to a birth deformity of her left wing that caused it to only grow to a certain point and just stop. She is admittedly self-conscious about the wing itself, as well as how it makes other ponies feel. While Dawn is mostly sorted with the wing, she does understand it can make others uncomfortable and often wears a shawl across her back and flanks to cover both wings when she needs to work in situations where others need to be more relaxed and undistracted.
