Silcan – The dragon from the Patagonian ice camps
This is Silcan, he is my feral form that complements Kayrcarom’s. His complete name is Silunncarhn, he is a long-bodied dragon with dense feathers and is huge in size.
Silcan is designed for a harsh climate located in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego which are what are known as part of the southmost countries in the world, Argentina and Chile. Silcan was born long before these two nations conquered Patagonia.
Silcan lives in a magical place where isles, mountain ranges and climate are unique. In this place snow and rain are constant, therefore Silcan’s diet it high in calories with the objective of storing several centimeters of fat as a precaution.
Silcan was born with a unusual purpose: He is the reincarnation of another dragon that lived long time ago. His heart constantly reminds him that the arriving of the love of his life will be at any moment. Silcan will live every day of his life dedicated to wait for his loved one.
Silcan is the last dragon in the world. He will die in 1860, in the last man free place in the world.
Ten years have passed since I designed Kayrcarom. In the same way earth travels the sun, I have made the same and I find myself in the same starting point as 10 years ago. Silunncarhn represents the end of that cycle. It time to reflex but also to be happy: I survived the most complex stage for an artist. The infancy of the artist where ethics, moral and technique are shaped, moment where sadly a lot of them die.
