Apple Family Legacy

Two spirits met across a field.
Their hearts were pure, connection real
Though these lovers fate was not to be
the fruits they bore grew strong like trees.
One was a daughter-Buttercup.
From her hearts carafe her lover supped.
Her mind was fruitful and voice most pleasant.
Her strumming sweet music ever present.
The other Bright with eyes a-gleaming.
From him laughter ever streaming.
A witty fellow but always kind
his heart the strongest one could find.
While sadness ended these lovers tales
their legacy was one not failed.
The ponies they left to the world
brought friendship to all well unfurled.
Their children formed of their loves bond
carry both their spirits on.
The apples of Bright's eyes do spread
much kindness in their dear Pears stead.
