A piece done in 1999.
A SERIOUS event has happened some months before that darn near resulted in Trevor being killed. There is a rift in the group as a result in this happening. Trevor had to make one of two choices; one will result in the group breaking apart, the other may keep them together but taking that course will result in a major shift in Trevor and Pink's personal relationship. As this choice affects them both, Trevor puts the final decision into Pink's hands.
Trevor has figured that Pink will let him know she has made the choice but not in what way. So, one evening, he's walking around the house and he hears music being played, a tune that Pink has composed for him only. He goes to where that music is coming from to find his mate playing the piano and he realizes that this is her way of letting him know she has made her choice. He waits to find out what it is.

Not sure if I have, either. Sounds scary. Is it out there somewhere? I've been trying to get my mitts on all Fornax stuff as it's been one of my absolute favorite storylines, ever. Matt did good creating that world. Thanks for posting! Stubat P.S. Box of cool stuff arrived yesterday. Thanks!
This comment is kinda late to the party, I guess, but in case anyone else comes across these:
For the record, the story Roadrodent describes above, was never actually written. It was just an idea he had. Richard had a whole folder full of ideas for the Fornaxes (and some of Matt McCullar's other characters as well), a number of which he shared with me at conventions (and undoubtedly shared even more of them with Matt via emails and such) – but most of which he never actually developed beyond a few lines of dialogue and occasionally, as with this one, a commissioned picture.
