So I've been away for a while... but I've not been entirely inactive! Among other things, I spent over a year working on this figurine. It took ages to get everything just right and ready for printing.... although some tiny details were broken during the printing process
A major part of the delay in getting this printed had to do with me coming up with the right pose. I wanted something a little more dynamic than the standing pose Amelia's figurine had, but for the life of me I couldn't think of something that fit May's personality..... and then it hit me, like a sack of bricks. Rather than deal with the headache of trying to 3D print a skateboard (even a static one would have soooo many complications), I had a stroke of brilliance and decided to use a Tech Deck fingerboard. This way, she can actually move around. All it took was a bit of math and a little glue, and now May is ready to hit the ramps*.
*just kidding. She's wayyy too fragile to play with, even though I do have a ramp for that Tech Deck.
