I grew up in New York (the state, not the city). The place where we lived was on one side of a large valley, with hills, trees, rivers, streams, lakes, and not much else. It was always very scenic and quiet, and the air wasn't very polluted at all. It's a great place to retire, or at the very least to get away from the city for a while.

In this sequence, I had managed to get a week off of work and used that time to go visit my folks back home. I decided one day to go to one of the wooded areas near the streams where my father and I used to go fishing and just take a bit of a nature hike.
