Blind beasts mini info

Blind beasts are monster thingies present in the supernatural of many of my headworlds!! They are physically blind, being only able to see non-corporeal stuff such as souls, feelings or whatever. Some of them might even be covered in eyes, each able to see a different thing. When not using their eye powers, they will be seemingly eyeless - their eyes are only constantly open when they have a sigil restraining them.

Their informal names come from the feeling their real name evokes, the later being in haiku form. To summon one or to make one reveal itself, one must recite the haiku while presenting offerings to the beast's tastes. Doing this performance correctly shows the beast that the summoner is willing to hold a pleasurable conversation, or at least will trick one into thinking so.

Blind beasts have a thousand functions in a spiritual/magical world. Candycane takes a humble life for a beast with her potential - she stays often in her temple, accepting visitors warmly and eating the feelings that weight them down. Despise the amount of negativity she consumes, she is a serene creature living in a peaceful, quiet garden which she nortures daily. When she realised that negative feelings wouldnt affect her and that she easily could solve those issues once inside her, she decided to use this to help others. The karma of her actions keeps her alive for a long, long time.
