This is my cartoon car character, Elsey. :) Elsey belongs to my OC, Naru Hsu, and is her daily driving car and friend. :) This is a sentient toon version of Elsey that I drew after one day getting the idea to draw her if she were a toon. :) This wasn't too difficult since I essentially designed Elsey to look like an older cartoon car. All I had to do was figure out where her eyes and mouth would be, then think of what her personality would be like. Since I designed her to be cute, and to constantly have engine troubles, her personality is generally cheerful and friendly, but also self conscious and sensitive about herself. This started out as just a doodle, but I thought that she looked so cute that I just had to color her. ^u^ Since this version of her is sentient, she can naturally talk, so if anyone has any questions they'd like to ask, go right ahead! :) In the meantime, here's some more information about this cutie. :3

Elsey is a cheerful and cute cartoon coupe convertible. :) She's been with her owner, Naru Hsu, since Naru got her license. Elsey is water cooled, and runs on unleaded regular gas. She can seat two occupants (the driver plus one passenger), and is fit with one spare tire (located on the outside of her trunk). Elsey has a very cheerful and friendly personality, and she loves sunny weather, car washes, and spending time with Naru. As a toon car, Elsey is able to think and act on her own. She can only start her engine and drive herself if her key is placed in the ignition, and can only do so if she has gas in her tank. If she's completely out of gas, she can still talk, see and hear, and control herself, but otherwise becomes as disabled as any car without gas. She also tends to have problems quite often, the most common being regularly sputtering and backfiring, her engine and easily overheating, and her low fuel tank capacity. She's broken down and run out of gas more times than Naru or her can keep track of at this point, but regardless of that, Naru refuses to get rid of her or to trade her in because of how close the two of them are. Because Elsey is not only able to speak and think for herself, but also has the same feelings and emotions as anyone, Naru Elsey have been able to develop a very close friendship with each other.
