i once invited a friend to a sushi restaurant with me. he was a huge fan of sushi but never had the stuff so i decided to treat him out.
first thin he did when the plate came in was ask what the green stuff was. I told him "It's wasabi."
He asked, "What's wasabi?"
I told him, "It's a very spicy paced that you can add to your sushi to give it a kick. Be careful though as it's very spicy in large amounts."
Before I even got to finish that last part, he took his chopsticks, grabbed a dime sized piece and put it in his mouth. All of us at the table just watched in surprise. I had a smile on my face. It took him 3 seconds exactly to realize what he'd done before spitting it back out and chugging his glass of water. When he was done with that I gave him mine and he downed that just as fast.
