Here's the new "used" RV that was bought off of Kbid auctions and had to go to South Dakota to get this beauty home.
It's a 1991 Aluma Lite Rambler Holiday powered by a big block Ford gas motor.
It was quite the trip going with my dad and brother in law to get this RV as we saw a lot of great scenery out in South Dakota. They didn't get any rain since the end of April if I remember correctly.
When we started our journey home did we run into some problems including a major one involving the alternator not charging due to the belts being worn out and had to pull over several times to jump start the battery and later charge it at a gas station before we left it at a strangers property for the night.
It wasn't easy on me as I was very frustrated of having to pullover so many times I had an emotional melt down and had to take a good long walk to cool off as my dad and brother in law tried to fix it, I went to a gas station to get some bubblegum which helped me relax a bit.
I was so glad to be home after our long journey. The next morning my mom drove my dad to get the RV and he'd brought two batteries with him in case they ran into a problem which they did and swapped out the battery then made their way home.
Since then he's been doing much needed repairs on it such as the alternator belts, the generator which we were told was "working" by the KBid people really didn't at all. Also one of the reasons he'd bought it was because it has a CB radio.
The price we paid for this was 5k.
