Here’s the latest addition to my expanding roster of characters, Bruno Bonterre, but his friends call him T-bone. First off, Bruno’s no angel, he’s not a villain but he’s spent no small number of nights in local jails after barroom brawls and numerous counts of trespassing. He scrapes along by doing a series of odd jobs. Security guard, bouncer, generally adding a little muscle and a lot of swearing to the jobs of a series of seedy employers.

He also works as a courier with his closest friend, a motorcycle he calls The Fallen Angel, a bike he keeps running with a series of threats, vitriolic encouragement, and prayer. As his jobs keep him running all over the place, Adrugos slips him a few bills here and there to be his eyes and ears in the region, keeping the thief apprised on who has the most interesting treasures.

All in all, most people just see Bruno as a two-bit thug, not really good for anything and probably wouldn’t be missed if he left. But this biker may yet prove his worth.
