PHOSPHOTiDYL has put together numerous patches, in .ips and .asm form, on the Completed Works subforum on Metroid Construction, and I decided to showcase some of his work.
List of changes...
*Ugly orange boxes begone! Swapped in favor of white text on a dark background, so it's no longer an eyesore.
*Item collection percentage on the upper-left.
*Total time elapsed on the upper-right, plus relocation of some of the white-line tiles so they still connect to the Power Suit.
*As a little side-collaboration towards the next iteration of GBA Style, the formerly-flat subweapon icons have had their shading restored, and Fusion-style digits have been added to the energy and ammo counters, as well as the timer, percentage, and Reserve Tanks.
This shot was taken from my most recent run of SM. 7 Missile Tanks and 1 Power Bomb Tank have gone to that great Chozo Temple in the ether of the cosmos by the time all was said, done, and exploded.
