A couple things:
1: This is a major experiment on many levels.
- a. Jeans colors. I think I finally got them down.
- b. the piece as a whole has a sort of "detached" look to it; the background was purposely sketched in pencil only while Jake was inked and even colored up front, giving a clear sense of rejection and self-focus.
2: Was kind of feeling this way after burning up earlier at work. I wasn't sure why I got the downer after being so hot at work's current events. And I don't mean the temperature.

Anyway, you might notice something new on Jake. He has a very rare tendency to dye his fur in specific spots based on really bad things he did to others or himself, as a constant reminder of these things he's not proud of. Once he has made peace with whatever had happened, the stained fur had already shed away.
What happened to warrant a blood red lock? I'm not telling.
