Hard to tell without a similar pose of the old look to compare to, but I'd say it looks a bit more mature? It's a good look.

Oh very nice Scott, I can see subtle changes here and there, one the ears seem shorter. All in all I think he looks even more masculine, which is a very good thing. I got to remember to do the grid structure stuff when I draw, little things you and Easy brought up a long time ago. Looks great man! =3

I know the lines are part of the sketching process....but part of me thinks it would look kinda cool if he is "digitalized"

I do like the looks of him so far, ears and nose especially :P
