He's the lead of the crafting branch of the family, working on different types of cloths through raising livestock and insects, seeing how different plants affect the quality and sheen of the fabric they make. These range from wool, silk, and even cloths made from plants. They also specialize in making clothing for furs with wings on their arms and backs, everything they do is custom made. They also work on a special chemical they can soak cloth in and when blood is rubbed on that special cloth, if it changes colour around the blood it will signal that there is poison in it. As well as Xylan's branch using different plants to get an all natural colourant for the clothing, opposed to using factory made dyes.

As you can see, he's testing one of the natural dyes on his own headfur, as well as wearing his own crafted clothing
