I've tried some MP3 files before, I guess they kinda work but headphones can be very distracting. The foundation of hypnosis is putting someone into a suggestible state of mind and it works but to what extent? I think you're right that it works if you want it to, but then is that truly hypnotism?
Well... yeah. That's what hypnotism is. It's not like in the movies or porn where someone can make you do something against your will and you're powerless against it.
That said, you can get way more from hypnotism if you're being hypnotised in person by someone you trust. The trust allows you to open up even more, making you suggestible to things you wouldn't normally ask for, or (in a case of a really deep trance) even know is being suggested. So in a way IRL hypnosis can deliver the fantasy if you're with someone you trust.

I've tried MP3 files for certain things. And the it can work if you want it to seems legit. It got me in the mood for what I wanted it to do. And the file itself says if you listen to it too much on loop it will change your mentality based on what the file is trying to do. I did it for a few days but what really ended up happening was that it got boring and it sounded more annoying the more I'd listen.
I did try a primer file and I could feel it somewhat taking effect, but I do want to at some point try it with an actual person because I agree that it would make a big difference. It's all a matter of conditioning which makes me wonder what the actual limits to hypnosis are. I'm not aware of what studies have been done on the subject but if people are using it for things like weight loss and quitting smoking then perhaps in terms of kink it is the most versatile, since it actually is a method of conditioning and all kinks are products of conditioning.
I've given up on MP3 Hypnosis files for the moment just because of those reasons. Maybe when I have a place to myself and can play a file on loop through a speaker next to my bed I'll try again to see if the suggestions might work that way, a la Dexter's Lab xD
As I've said, an irl Hypnosis session is far more effective :3

I can totally relate to her about being curious. But when you have been told that you need to act your age or grow up.. Or stop being a child WHILE going up in life. It can really effect you hardcore. I had this kind of feeling for most of my life even now.
I love this comic so much. Star, keep up the awesome work! <3

White = Cool down. OOne rule mentioned was no baby talk (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22267964) and I'd think hypno would be out too, but definitely hypno into baby talk.
Yellow rooms are no kink just age play.
Here is where Manda drew the line
Green here kink can happen as it is a mix room (But Star can't go here until she gets with Manda)
Blue is pure kink I guess if we get technical about what Manda said then maybe she could go here, but I don't think Manda would approve and I'm pretty sure Star would be in trouble.

Yeah... I think babytalk would be reserved for green/yellow rooms, and hypno for blue/green. But the others probably know the rules better, and are good kids. So they'll probably insist on moving to a green room first.
Either that or decide hypnosis is fine for a white room, but she'll drop into baby talk as soon as she returns to a room where it's allowed.

Oh my, Star, dear...
I can just see her going up to Manda, bright red, expecting to lean in and quietly ask, "Manda, could you please take me where I can get a fresh nappy", and instead it comes out as "Antee Manda! Me goed wetties in me nappee!", and that, for these purposes, will be nothing short of adorable, watching her handpaws clap over her mouth as she hears the words come out.
I do sincerely hope that Draco remembers to put limits in place so that she doesn't accidentally refer to her boss as "Mawellith" or snap a salute and pop off with "Yeth Thir!", but not knowing anything about her adult life, he wouldn't know to do that specifically.
As Aricub so correctly stated, there is no self-preservation instinct to prevent utter, flame-faced humiliation.

Okay, let's talk about hypnosis for a minute.
Rule number one of hypnosis. You will NEVER do anything that you do not want to do already! If you watch those talk shows that have hypnotists on them, making people walk around like a chicken and going cluck, cluck, cluck is all set up and staged. It's not real.
Hypnosis is a deep, DEEP state of relaxation which the therapist takes you to, and YOU open your mind to receive hypnotic instruction. If you don't believe it will happen to you, it won't. If you fight it all the way, you won't reach a hypnotic state, you'll never get there. But, on the other hand, if you desire and are willing to allow yourself to listen to the instruction, then you can move into a hypnotic state.
There is one hypnotist, her name is Charlotte and she lives in the U.K. She used to use the name Arkadia. She has done several hypnosis recordings, available over on Baby-pants.com
She has offered two free recordings, from a long time ago, hosted over on Baby Davey's Toddlerism web site.
http://toddlerism.com/hypnosis/
These recordings really work for me (well, I only use the little girl one), and IF I am ready for them, and IF I am in a state where I can accept the hypnotic suggestions, and IF there isn't anything else going on in my life, and a whole bunch of other 'Ifs', I can listen to this and I regress back to a a baby of less than one year old.
I use babytalk, for me, it sounds just like a baby. I suck my thumb, it feels wonderful and so perfectly natural to do that. I love my baby toys, and playing with them. I find it easier to wet myself, although it doesn't take that control away from me. But, in her instruction, she says 'if for any reason, you need to be an adult, or anything needs your adult attention, you will instantly revert back to being an adult.' That's very true, I've been 'in trance' and had the phone ring. Boom, immediately after the first ring, I was totally, 100% adult.
I've never been more than 15 or 20 minutes 'in trance', but it's pretty powerful, and I wish I could get back to it immediately, but I never can. I do find, though, if you listen to hypnosis recordings on a regular basis, it is easier to get relaxed, and relaxation is the most important part of any hypnosis.
Rule Number Two. You need to be relaxed, ready, and willing to accept hypnotic suggestion. Having four or five other people around you isn't really conducive to having someone put you 'in trance.' You need to be really calm, and you need not to be aware of the things that you normally bother you about yourself, and laying, or sitting in a cushion fort with a bunch of strangers, one of who offers to make you talk like a baby, is probably not the easiest way to be relaxed. You need to be ready to accept the hypnotic suggestions, and have the desire to see the results.
Rule Number Three. Triggers, like finger snaps or code words CAN work, but require multiple sessions over a very long period of time to embed in the subject. So, even if Star gets hypnotized today, a trigger like 'If you hear such and such say this word, you're going to start talking baby talk' isn't going to work. However, if you are repeatedly hypnotized, i.e., daily, to be comfortable slipping into babytalk, maybe a month or two down the road, the therapist can start introducing the ability to give someone else control, but the patient/subject needs to be totally alright with that. The concept that Star would respond to some code word programmed into her that her CNCO, Marellis, might say is ludicrous. It wouldn't happen, Star as an adult wouldn't allow it to happen, no matter how many sessions she had to 'program' her to do it.
It will be interesting to see where the story goes, though.

I was speaking specifically of the 'stage hypnosis' where some 'hypnotist' takes a 'volunteer' out of the audience and makes them do stupid stuff, within ten minutes or so, that's all faked.
I am a willing user of hypnosis, at least as far as being regressed is concerned, and it's DIFFICULT to see the results if you're not perfectly willing to accept the suggestions, and it takes a while to get there. This stage stuff is just entertainment, pure and simple.

You have to be willing to listen to, and accept, the therapist's suggestions for you. If you fight it, you're not going to get the results you want. No one can hypnotize you to make you do something against your own will, so if your will is divided on something, you can pretty well rest assured that you're not going to get the results you want.
Okay, well I checked the relevant Wikipedia article, and they seem to suggest that while there is a form of suggestion occurring in stage shows, it's apparently distinct from TRUE hypnosis (and doesn't seem to have a name of its own to distinguish it, for some reason).

If you're talking about the recordings I linked to, the only thing I can say is 'just relax.
Hypnosis isn't for everyone, there are those people who it will not work for, for whatever reason. If you are in a situation where you are worried about someone catching you, or you don't think it can happen to you, or you're stressed about something or other, it just isn't going to work. If you are expecting some sort of magical control over you, it isn't going to work.
You just need to be calm, clear your mind of everything, relax and enjoy.
Then again, you may still be one of those people it won't work for. It's never guaranteed to work for everyone.

Might be worth trying different recordings, or finding a real hypnotist (whether that's in person or online).
There's many different ways to achieve a trance state. Relaxation is one of the most commonly used, and it seems to be very popular in recordings because it's quite effective for the majority of people. I don't think there's any path that works for everyone, even if you're perfectly prepared. And conversely, I don't think there's anyone out there who's really unaffected by hypnosis. Though if your brain doesn't respond to most of the common inductions, it can be easy to feel that way.

Well drawn and realistic dialogue. Mesmerism alias hypnotism isn't something my big side holds with but hey,it's a free world out there, however to me the bigger thing is that sense of "you're finally where you wanted to be but you're not sure how far in you feel okay with" cos that's how I felt several years back when I first got my head around regression and would I be a freaking freak and as the cartoonist knows I've learned to regress more and hey even yews some child/baby talk after spending what seemed ages addressing people in serious adult meetings. Seriously it's worse than accepting yoor TG/Sissy cos at least most of familiar adult world remains and your still in that headspace.
Well Hypnosis is a esteblished method for psycho-therapy and is both accepted as such by doctors and is covered (here in Germany at least) by most health insurances so yeah hyppnosis is real.
But theres one little problem with this case. For hypnosis to work the "patient" himself has to think that it can work. Without that It wont work.
Also the person has to (at least subconsciously) want to do the thing that is suggested to him. I think that wouldnt be a problem here but you canr really "control" people with hypnosis like shown in movies and TV and make them mindless slaves that can do whatever you want.
But on the other hand its a comic about a walking, talking and diaper-wearing lynx so.... Who cares about realism ^^
But wasnt babytalking forbidden in white rooms?

Hehehe, I could see my wrestler Soren Sylvar walking home after a rough day and due to being slightly out of it is still wearing his ring briefs and boots. He mistakes Manda's house for his own, trying to use his keys on her door and headbutts it in frustration, which just knocks him out. Later, he wakes up inside, padded and not sure where he is, blushing as he remembers a not so favorable time when he medically had to wear diapers, so he acts out with some naughty adult words and has to end up getting hypnotized into being a good little boy.
That would actually be funny to see, I cant wait for summer break to end so I can start working again and have money to drop
